Quality Inspector Contract Role

If you are coming to the end of your contract or in between positions, this could be a great option as we have 2 months' work for a mechanical biased manufacturer in Fareham, they mostly operate with Aerospace and Nuclear/Energy so the work is interesting and often bespoke.

You will be joining a company with a great working environment that has a great team spirit and value their employees, they encourage staff to continue learning and to contribute to continuous improvement activities. They have free onsite parking and an onsite gym that you could use, they also have a canteen and modern working environment. Depending on the level and type of experience, salary would range from mid-twenties upwards to mid-thirties.

What are they looking for?

As this is a temporary to clear a backlog, they really need an experienced Mechanical Inspector who has experience of CMM Inspection as well as manual inspection. They are looking for someone with a background in a mechanical manufacturing/engineering biased background, experience in precision engineering/machine shop environment or knowledge of the Aerospace industry / AS9100 / AS9102.

Someone who is self-motivated with strong communication skills would be very successful in this role, as well as having excellent people skills, a diplomatic nature and able to work in a team. This role will appeal to your natural tendency for attention to detail as they work to tight tolerances.
