We are working with a well-established electronics manufacturer based in the Fareham area who produce an exciting range of goods for marine industry, they are constantly developing their products to remain at the forefront of technology.

The role we are looking to fill is initially a fixed term contract role for 3 months but could become permanent or get extended. This role would suit someone who has experience in the marine industry but this isn't essential if you have exposure to working on camera or thermal imaging equipment. A strong knowledge of electronics and fault finding is essential.

The salary is around £35'000 per annum and there is free parking. You will be working in a friendly team who are passionate about their work, this could suit an electronics engineer with an interest in the marine industry.

The Role

1st line response to telephone queries associated with your product range, responding to enquiries or escalating them to team members for further detailed response

Assisting customers via Telephone, web and email supporting team colleagues whilst in the office

Provide customers with call back and or follow up actions to ensure satisfactory resolution within dept KPIs

To support customers remotely via web team viewer sessions, to diagnose source of issues on-board

To supervise and engage appropriate local resources to remove and replace products, co-ordinating replacement products and spares as necessary.

Undertake field service visits as required

Support administration of returns and repairs whilst in the office

Report and follow up in-field issues, initiating appropriate response and follow up actions.
