Qualified Social Worker - Main Grade - Adult Safeguarding Ref no: 889-1006

Based in the Adult MASH at the Civic Office, this role involves making enquiries into allegations of abuse against vulnerable adults in line with the requirements of Section 42 of the Care Act, and assisting in the triage of any concerns raised. You will work with a variety of statutory and non-statutory agencies during any enquiries such as the Police, Health Teams, Residential Homes and Domiciliary Care Agencies.

You will write Section 42 reports when you have conducted an enquiry, and be responsible for helping develop protection plans and protecting people who have complex and complicated needs. As well as working independently and being responsible for managing your own caseload you will be expected to supervise unqualified staff. With a qualification in social work as well as being HCPC registered you will have experience of working with adults as well as a thorough understanding of safeguarding Vulnerable Adults.
