This is a temporary Cashiering role based at Gosport Borough Council.
Your main duties will be to ensure that all monies received are correct and that the correct change is given. All paperwork is to receipted and you will be required to cash up each day and to produce an end of day balance sheet.
Who is the person?
You will have experience of cash handling and recording. Good IT and communication skills.
Good numeracy skills are a must for cash handling
You will have experience of dealing with the public and be able to communicate clearly in person and on the telephone.
You will have initiative and the ability work under pressure
