The University of Portsmouth is in the top 2% of the world's universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2016, and one of the world's top 100 new universities in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2017.  The School of Languages and Area Studies at the University is one of the largest departments in the UK for international studies, languages, and communication.  

The School delivers a wide range of taught programmes, conducts world-class research, and undertakes consultancy and knowledge exchange.

As a University Teaching Fellow in International Business and Marketing, you would undertake teaching in the areas of international marketing, international trade, and business communication.  Most of your students will be users of English as a second language and experience of working with international students in HE, together with a Masters Degree in a relevant discipline, are both therefore essential. 

As a University Teaching Fellow you will be working as part of a team of over 70 academic staff in the School and in the well -established subject area of Business and Business Communication within the Department. The post is open-ended and opportunities for continuing professional development are provided at Departmental and University level.
