The Faculty of Technology is seeking to appoint a Technical Manager to join its inspiring and vibrant School of Civil Engineering and Surveying.  The post provides a high quality technical support service within a diverse range of engineering skills, spanning disciplines across Civil Engineering and Surveying areas.

For this challenging position, you will need to have experience in an Engineering discipline, be a highly organised individual who has the ability and aptitude to manage a high volume of diverse tasks. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working in a large and complex organisation 

The post will support learning and teaching activities for undergraduate, postgraduate, and research students providing a comprehensive technical support service within the Faculty of Technology.  The School will be looking to employ apprentices in the future and the post holder will oversee their training, support and assessment.

The successful candidate will also require a flexible attitude to changing work patterns, thrive on working in a busy office environment and enjoy providing a service to others. Some travel and working away will be required to support field trips.
