To help us achieve our vision, we are seeking a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow in Adult Nursing to contribute to teaching excellence and innovation, related to the nursing care of adults and research in the simulated clinical environment. The successful candidate will be able to effectively articulate their contribution to improving patient services, through education, research and innovation. We actively encourage and support those staff who are ambitious in their own career development, through doctoral studies.
We encourage applications from those with specialist interest in one or more of the following:
For this role recent experience of facilitating student-centred nursing education in higher education is desirable, along with the motivation and ability to innovate and evaluate our adult pre-registration curriculum as it progresses. A Degree/postgraduate qualification in health or a related subject is essential.
If you would like to come for an informal visit and discussion in relation to these posts, please contact Dr Isobel Ryder, programme lead for nursing
The University of Portsmouth embraces diversity and we positively encourage applicants from all sections of the community, in particular from under-represented groups.
