Salary: £6,244 - £6,626 p.a. plus 7.5% shift allowance

Several part-time posts available; these posts are in blocks of 4hr shifts 8.30am to 12.30pm and include alternate weekend working (and will include some bank holiday working). These shifts will be worked over a two week rota 4 days one week and 3 days the next, week days to be discussed at interview. There will be opportunities at times to do additional hours some of which could be at short notice; however this would be by mutual agreement with the unit managers.

Finally a little information about the residential units: Shearwater is a purpose built home in Milton for 60 adults with dementia, accommodation is over 3 floors with 20 residents on each floor.

Edinburgh house is a 30 bedded unit for adults with dementia and is accommodated over 2 floors and is in Cosham

Hilsea Lodge is a 35 bedded unit for adults with dementia and is accommodated all on one level. This is based in Hilsea

Victory Unit is a 20 bedded rehab and reablement unit providing short term support to adults with rehabilitation needs living in Portsmouth city. This can often be frail elderly service users.
