Salary circa £35,000-40,000 per annum (negotiable)

Flourishing, entrepreneurial business is currently seeking a highly motivated warehousing / operations professional to oversee the creation, staff recruitment, and development of daily of a new regional warehouse. Key responsibilities:

• Management of daily order work flow. Order picking, packing and dispatch.
• Team recruitment, development and management – keeping employees motivated and organising appropriate training, conducting appraisals, recruitment, promotion etc.
• Working alongside Operations Management to ensure the business maximises daily dispatch and dispatch of correct time-sensitive orders.
• Meeting SLA targets for all customers.
• Working alongside Operations Management to identify any problematic products / warehouse issues and ways of improving warehousing operations.
• Driving process improvements and cost saving initiatives.
• Rota planning.
• Health and safety.

Candidate requirements:

• Commercial business experience, ideally in an ecommerce environment.
• The ability to work with other department heads to assess the needs of the company from a financial (cost saving) perspective.
• Management / team leading experience.
• Hands-on attitude, getting involved and picking / packing orders.
