Are you an SQL expert? Able to write complex queries? Like providing 2^nd line support to clients? A role has arisen due to promotion, for a Technical Support Analyst which is a hybrid role, not only are you providing 2nd line support to various sites as well as Head Office but building and maintaining MI reports from the main operating database, using SQL and Excel.

What will you be doing?

• Providing 2^nd line support to various stores and head office, solving technical issues
• Maintaining system documentation
• Performing testing of upgrades prior to release
• Developing bespoke reports on request for management and Directors
• Gathering / Exporting data from SQL database to excel
• Writing SQL complex queries
• Assisting Sales & Marketing on website development
• Day to day administration for applications

What do you need?

• SQL – ability to write complex queries
• Knowledge of Loops and IIFS - SQL
• Strong Excel (build macros)
• Ideally XML knowledge
• Strong analytical skills
• Able to resolve technical issues

Out of hours working is occasionally required as some systems work cannot be carried out whilst stores are trading. There is also the requirement to be on IT on-call rota for store support during weekends and bank holidays (2 consecutive weekends in 12).
