KINGSHAM PRIMARY SCHOOL, CHICHESTER

30 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum

(Hours are split as follows 7am - 9am and 3pm - 7pm Monday to Friday)

Actual annual salary GBP 15,767 to GBP 17,588

Kingsham is a true community school, not far from the centre of Chichester but in an area with its own unique character. As part of a small team in a busy school environment, the Site Maintenance Co-ordinator is responsible for the maintenance and security of the school premises and site, ensuring the school meets health and safety legislation and is a safe, clean and welcoming environment for the school community.

Drawing on your experience, and with the support of your line manager, you will ensure that a professional service is delivered which meets the needs of the school, including producing and maintaining a rolling programme of redecoration, repairs and maintenance. The position also requires you to supervise a team of cleaning staff to meet objectives and targets set to deliver standards of work which strive to be outstanding in all areas.

With knowledge of building maintenance and a willingness to undertake training, you will have a professional, friendly and helpful approach. You will understand the need to be flexible, conscientious and reliable, and enjoy contributing to a team whilst able to work with minimum supervision.
