Based at the Bognor Regis Campus, the Disability and Dyslexia Service Administrator (Casework) will be responsible for further developing and maintaining effective administrative systems to facilitate the day-to-day operation and processes of the Disability and Dyslexia Service, supporting students and staff.

With previous administration experience and excellent Microsoft Office and database IT skills, the successful applicant will take responsibility for developing and maintaining effective administrative systems which facilitate the day-to-day operation of the Disability and Dyslexia Service (DDS). This role will have particular responsibility for managing administrative systems related to student casework. This includes processing correspondence related to students'' disclosure of conditions and managing the system for disseminating information regarding student need to departments throughout the University. You will take a lead in managing this information and the transition from a largely paper-based to a digital system. You will manage the administrative processes related to students'' diagnostic assessments. You will also liaise with students and applicants regarding their requirements. This post requires effective interpersonal skills in responding to queries from students and external agencies in a helpful and flexible manner.

An enthusiastic team player, you will liaise with staff across the department and the University in order to update student information, requiring attention to detail. The ability to work quickly and independently under pressure is essential in this busy, but rewarding Team.

This post may be worked over four or five days per week.
