A Top 10 accountancy firm are looking to hire an individual, confident in preparing annual financial statements to join their growing assurance and business services team. The role will be based at their large and modern office in Southampton, Hampshire.

The role will involve working closely with the managers, attending client meetings and helping to develop the Outsourcing service line in Southampton. Being a large firm, there will be a lot of variety in the type and size of clients that you will be working with on a daily basis. The firm is also well known for its work/life balance, especially within the Top 10.

The office is located in the city centre, just 10 minutes walk from Southampton Central train station, meaning the office is easily accessible from many areas including Portsmouth, Salisbury and Bournemouth. There is also a large car park directly behind the office.

The office boasts a rooftop garden, modern kitchen facilities and various break out areas. Social activities include Wii tournaments on the big screen, elevenses and rooftop drinks.

About You

• AAT Qualified and/or 1-2 years proven experience within an Accountancy Practice
• Comfortable preparing various types of accounts
• Perhaps looking to join a bigger firm with opportunities for development
• Some tax and audit knowledge is advantageous
• Prior experience of caseware is desirable
• First-class presentation and communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Computer literacy is essential
