Student Support and Information Services
The Head and Clinical Lead for Student Wellbeing, Disability and Dyslexia Service (part-time: 29.6 hours per week), will have oversight and take a facilitative role in developing, promoting and responding to the needs of a complex and diverse range of issues presented by students and will actively coordinate and work alongside other members of the team to provide an integrated support service for students.
The successful candidate will have a passion for developing the skills and resilience of students and will lead a team of experienced and professional staff. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual who can inspire students and colleagues alike.
You will have operational oversight of the Wellbeing, Disability and Dyslexia services, that includes Disability and Dyslexia Advisers, Mental Health co-ordinated Wellbeing Advisers and Counselling. In partnership with Nurse Health Advisers, you will further develop professional standards and ethical working practices whilst also increasing the range of opportunities for students and staff to access the service.
