Target Professional Services help Pension companies and financial organisations to locate people and connect them to their pension or savings.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Officer to join our small friendly team. You will assist the Head of Compliance in ensuring the business complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role will also provide facilities support. 
 
Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be given for the right candidate.

Experience in the following would be advantageous but not essential as training in these aspects can be provided:

• Experience auditing in particular ISO 27001 & 9001 audits
• Data Protection / Information Security qualification
• Experience in writing formal documents
• Experience in setting up workstations for new starters and movers
• Previous experience in a compliance or quality role would be beneficial but not essential

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Compliance with data protection impact assessments, health & safety risk assessments, compliance risk assessments and performance monitoring
• Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues
• Report back to business functions on current risk and compliance performance
• Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organisation
• Review marketing materials, presentations and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assist in gathering internal information in response to regulatory requests
• Perform various general administrative duties as required from time to time
• Collaborate with senior management to create a culture of compliance
• Complete internal audits of the company's processes, practices, and documents
• Assist the Head of Compliance to manage Feedback within using our bespoke Quality, Information Security and Compliance Management System (ISO portal)
• Complete regular training and briefings to all employees who carry out the processing of personal data, of their obligations pursuant to the DPA 2018 and EU & UK GDPR.
• Assist all levels of the business to implement and comply with the requirement of the Health & Safety at Work Act and all relevant safety legislation
• Provide facilities support across the three sites (assisting with new starter set ups, staff moves & general office upkeep)
• Support the Data Security Critical Starter, Mover, Leaver Policy and Process (SML)
