PeoplePay Global are looking for an individual to join our Finance team. Taking on the role of a Finance Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day administration of the company’s sales and purchase ledgers
• Monitoring and reconciling the bank accounts
• Maintain accurate and compliant records
• Raising of sales and purchase invoices and credit notes
• Maintaining the nominal ledger
• Data entry and spreadsheet creation and maintenance
• Assisting with credit control
• Journal entries
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Regular balance sheet, ledger accounts and bank reconciliations
• Monitoring the team inbox and responding professionally to queries from customers and suppliers
• Helping with the VAT Return and any VAT queries
• Commissions calculations
• Payroll journals
• Assisting the Finance Manager to deliver timely month-end and budget reporting
• Providing guidance and training to Accounts Apprentices
• Assisting with ad-hoc reporting or project requests from senior management and any other reasonable duties as required to meet the company’s objectives
• Experience with Xero and strong Excel skills would be an advantage

• Proficient Xero, Microsoft Office, and Computer Literacy skills.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and resilient.
• Prior experience required.

The basic salary is £35,000 per annum with a realistic OTE of £38,000.

We are based just outside of Chichester with free on-site parking and also have an accessible bus route.
