Part-Time Circuit Response & Maintenance Operatives (Weekends & Evenings)

An opportunity has arisen to join the Maintenance Team at Donington Park Race Circuit, one of the UK’s most iconic motorsport venues.

We are seeking reliable, hands-on and maintenance-minded individuals to provide evening and weekend cover during race events and mid-week activity days. This is a practical and physically demanding role at the heart of circuit operations, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of motorsport activities.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will assist with circuit preparation, respond to on-track incidents and carry out minor maintenance tasks across the venue, working approximately 15 - 25 hours per week.

This position would suit individuals who enjoy working outdoors, thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining the highest standards of safety and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with race circuit preparation ahead of events
• Supporting the installation and inspection of circuit furniture and safety equipment
• Responding to on-track incidents as part of the circuit response team
• Clearing debris, fluids and other track contamination safely and efficiently
• Carrying out minor repairs to barriers and trackside infrastructure
• Ensuring the circuit is restored promptly to allow continued running
• Liaising closely with Race Control and event officials
• Assisting with minor maintenance tasks across the wider venue

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Practical, hands-on maintenance experience
• A proactive and safety-conscious approach
• The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual tasks
• The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliability, punctuality and flexibility with availability
• A full UK driving licence (essential)

This is a seasonal part-time position offering evening and weekend work aligned to the circuit’s event calendar. It presents an excellent opportunity to work trackside at a premier motorsport venue and play a vital role in delivering safe and successful events.
