Administrative Assistant (Student Records)
Providing a professional service supporting students, staff and other external agencies, Academic Registry ensures that records of all students are maintained and accurate, and are seeking an administrator to join their busy team.
The role includes providing an enquiry response service and counter service, dealing with enquiries in person, by telephone and through written correspondence and email, and monitoring accuracy and completeness of student data, including data entry in accordance with Academic Registry processes and procedures. Working to tight deadlines and managing high volume tasks, the role requires a flexible approach and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Applications are welcome from individuals with experience of general office administration, ideally within an HE environment; and demonstrable capability in literacy and numeracy with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The University continually seeks to improve its service provision and therefore a proactive approach to contributing to the development of the Department is essential.
