Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions and Communications:
Taking a leading role in developing the University''s SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) strategy, the SEO Officer will have proven SEO experience and be responsible for the SEO delivery for the main University website (chi.ac.uk).
Liaising with the Digital Marketing Manager, Marketing Campaigns Officers, and external agencies to strategically work through improving the visibility of key recruitment pages, you will be proficient in techniques used to maximise the volume of inbound organic traffic from search engines in order to increase student recruitment as per the University''s growth strategy.
With experience in content management systems and information architecture planning and analytics, the post holder will recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO. The successful applicant will have knowledge of link-building, keyword strategy, metadata sculpting, site speed optimisation, content strategy and anything else deemed suitable to help organically increase the University''s SERPs ranking.
The post holder will provide quarterly reports to show impact of changes and will give training, advice and guidance to others on SEO best practice, requiring the ability to break down complex factors and explain them to a wider audience.
