A top 10 firm, in a large and central office in Birmingham, is looking for an individual used to dealing with complex clients, for a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager in a more advisory role.

The majority of the work undertaken will be advisory focussed within a busy Private Client team. You will be assisting the Partners and Directors with tax planning which will include non-domicile, on and offshore trusts and inheritance tax for trusts and individuals. There will also be the opportunity to assist junior members of staff with their personal and professional development.

The Birmingham office is just less than a minutes walk from Birmingham Snow Hill train station, and is also easily commutable from Birmingham New Street and Moor Street.

What are we looking for?

• Should be ACA and/or CTA qualified
• 3+ years experience in tax in a Public Practice
• Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Commercial awareness
• Good understanding of private client tax advisory work
