As our Forestry & Estate Maintenance Worker you will become a vital part of our experienced and close-knit team.

In this varied role you’ll be responsible for the upkeep of the Estate including all amenity, roadside trees and forests as well as car parks and public rights of way.

You will be operating machinery including tractor driving, hauling work, chain saw operation and tree planting / management, as well as loading our biomass boiler.

Experience in lifting and moving heavy items within manual handling guidelines would be advantageous, although training will be provided.

A good knowledge of trees and tree planting, a passion for what you do and a positive, 'can do' attitude are key ingredients for this role.

You'll have the chance to develop, gaining strong experience in a truly unique and fast paced environment.

What you'll have:

• Chainsaw qualification for maintenance and small felling as minimum qualification
• Experienced Tractor / Telehandler with use of PTO equipment
• Proven experience of keeping machinery maintained
• Knowledge of trees and tree planting
• Logical and methodical in your approach to problem solving
• A friendly, positive and helpful attitude
